Motiv8, Inc. is a nonprofit enrichment organization committed to helping young people create a better sense of self through the performing arts. Through the power of dance and music, Motiv8 partners with schools support young students in enhancing and showcasing their skills which may lead to future educational and performance opportunities.
Motiv8’s goal is to help young people build confidence, learn technique, and show the ability to make positive life decisions for themselves. Through workshops, professional, and personal development, Motiv8 hopes to create a generation of motivated young people who are able to see the talent they possess.

Raven Nicole is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of the Arts in Psychology and Sociology with a concentration in Law and Cognitive Science. She currently resides in Raleigh, NC, but as a proud military brat, is able to call many places home across the United States including California, Texas and Georgia. Starting dance when she was four, she has gone on to dance and/or choreograph for several artists and companies including Ginuwine, Calvin Richardson, the Sacramento Kings and Snoop Dogg. She has also had the opportunity to act as Director for UNC's first coed dance team, UNC Kamikazi and lead instructor at both Bravo Academy of Dance and Faulkners Dance and Gymnastics. She is excited to start this journey with you and your students!

Kimberly (Kim) Palmer is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Choreography. A native of Durham, NC, Kim began her training at Walltown Children's Theatre in 2001. During her high school years, she danced with Durham School of the Arts Dance Company, Walltown Children's Theatre Dance Company, and College African American Dance Company. Kim has been seen in works by Daniel Guirtzman, Scott Putman, Gerri Houlihan, Chris Burnside, Amaranth Contemporary Dance Company, and the reconstruction of the seminal work, Shelter by Jawole Will Jo Zollar, founder and artistic director of Urban Bush Women. Founder of KaliMoves, Kim loves teaching and choreographing. Her greatest accomplishment is being a mom to her son, Maxwell.
